This 7" jade bracelet, hand carried from
China, consists of 6 jade links (each 5/8x3/4"), interspersed with square
(5/16" square) linked sterling insets, each depicting a Chinese character.
Size, color, match and luster are excellent. The Chinese characters
are: FU, LU, SHOU, AN, KANG, and NING - meaning wealth, riches, long
life, peace, health and tranquility, respectively. The square
clasp, which matches the links, is also sterling silver, a hook/click type
with safety catches.
This is so-called "Bashan"
jade, a beautiful, pale, translucent green.
